So I put an S3 grill on my a3 and the badge is not installed in that grill, my question is... can you install any other badge or does it have to be an s3 or RS3 front grill badge or rather what else fits in there and does anyone know where I can source these things?

How was the install of the grill? Do you have any photos of the process? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Was your grill OEM or aftermarket?

2015 A3. RS style grill with no emblems looks good in my opinion. Also did the tow hook liscense plate holder, didn't want to have to deal with tickets in NY.

2013 Q5. I also did an RS grill on my Q5 and looks clean without any emblems.

You have to pull the bumper to install it, the previous stock grill was broken by someone backing into it and then leaving the scene. An awesome forum member sold me that grill for a great price. It’s an OE S3 grill. You have to be careful when removing the parking sensors as to not damage the cables and connectors. And you also have to be careful with two sets of clips on the bottom of each corner, if you break those tabs you damage your number permanently and basically would have to use some kind of adhesive to keep your grill there. Other then those two things? It was a breeze. There are some good YouTube videos on how to do it yourself if you look..

the issue is that the OE S3 grill has the emblem holder built into the grill kind of, unlike the RS3 grill. So I guess to resolve the issue I’m just gonna have to put a little S3 badge in there.

I want to buy this grille:
Says it requires a 285mm x 100mm emblem. Can anyone tell me where I can find the required emblem? I would call the dealer but it'll be difficult to find the exact one without the part number.

I can't seem to find a grille that already comes with the emblem that's being sold in the US.
