Fun with the horn
So I come home from the grocery store, trunk full of groceries for the next week. I park in the driveway, turn off the car, pop the trunk and hit the horn to get the kids to come help carry the bags onto the house and there's no beep beep. The thing is less than 6 months old, hit again harder no horn, hold it down no horn. I'm starting to get ticked. I put the key back in give it a twist to light the dash up hit the horn it works.
I have never had a car that turns the horn off with the ignition before, yet another Audi special feature! |

the only European car I ever had before was a 1979 VW Rabbit can't remember if the horn did that.
I am coming off a long line of Honda's, so there are various things like this that surprise me. |
Thats a poor design. A horn is a safety feature and might be needed to draw attention even if the keys are not in the ignition.
