I have the Canadian A3 prestige model with audi connect. In the glove box it has an AUX port and a USB slot that says 'CHARGE ONLY'

The issue is whenever the car is off this port goes off. Is there any way to keep this power on all the time?



I tried moving the 'sockets' fuse to always on but that had no luck. But at least my 12v power socket is always on. But is there any way to get the USB port always on?

To be clear, when you say 'glovebox' do you mean center console/ under the armrest?

i do not recall ever seeing a usb charge outlet in my glovebox.

but there is one under my arm rest

Yes you're correct, I meant center console

No, there really isn't a way since it connects directly to your MMI in the glovebox. You would have to rewire to an always on fuse.
