Default Hold On Tight to Your Caps Gents

Funny story about slow coolant loss in 2.0 TFSI engine. Noticed that level in reservoir was down to just above the MIN line and so added fluid to MAX line. Now 1 month later the level is holding. What I did notice is that to make sure the screw on cap is tight you need to go 3 clicks past first contact. My guess is that the cap was slightly loose and slowly losing fluid. I have no reason to mess with the cap and the only other possibility is ham handed work by dealer during annual maintenance, 5 months previous. As a side benefit I now see that the oil temp warms up noticeably faster and goes higher, about 4-5 deg. C .
