How to change MMI from my email to my texts?
My MMI shows my email from my phone. I'd rather it show my text messages, but I can't find out how to switch it. Both would be fine, but really text messages would be more useful.
Any idea on how to change it?

It all depends on the app you are using.
My old phone worked with email, with the stock HTC client, and worked with text too.
My OnePlus has Boxer for email - and it doesn't work w/. the mmi, but the text app works.
Try a couple different text apps??
I'd love to see a list of apps that work w/ the MMI properly.

Interesting. So it's on the phone side. I'm using Android (HTC) with the stock messaging app. I also have WhatsApp but don't see those either.
Actually, i have multiple ways to get messages, the stock app, WhatsApp, FB Messenger, email (both work and personal), Gmail (I believe that's all). The only thing I see is the stock email app.

Beats me. The technologist set it up when I picked up the car, but it almost seemed like it was a default action. I was sitting with him as he set it up, but there was nothing obvious about it while he was doing it.
Which is sort of my problem. Because I can't figure out how he got it set up to begin with, I can figure out how to undo it and get it to read my texts instead.
Maybe I should just delete the phone and start over?
