In the US market, it is on every A3 and used for Pre Sense (forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking). Adding the Prestige adds ACC.

It is just not the Trump market that gets Pre Sense but that module in the bottom middle of the grill in the photo is an ACC module and not Pre Sense.

ACC uses 2 sensors, which are mounted near the edges of the grille.

Those are parking sensors.

I was thinking the same as you can see the 2 sensors in my original photo. Unless the sensors are used for multiple purposes. Whenever I'm parking my car and approach a curb or wall they alert me with audible and visual alerts on my center console screen.
