Default Leather Care?

So I just sold my BMW M4. I am looking to buy an Audi soon hopefully. Now my question is this:

1) Can I use the BMW Leather Care that I still have from the old car or do I need to purchase any Audi Specific leather care products from the dealership

2) Speaking of leather care, do I need to put the leather care on the seats from day one to protect them or shall I wait for a few months to treat them?

I am sure the BMW products are more than suitable for the Audi. Treat the leather as soon as you like in order to preserve them as well as possible.

Agreed, just keep them regularly treated and you'll be good. The BMW product should work fine.

Right, but do you apply the leather care from day one to keep it protected?

Yes, that would be fine to get it off to a good start.

Odds are you will be fine. Just out of curiosity, is the BMW leather care product(s) a cleaner, conditioner/guard, or both? If it is just a cleaner I would recommend getting gtechniq L1 leather guard. Great product that provides a guard to your seats for months at a time. I personally cleaned my RS3 seats a week after taking delivery, and then applied the L1 leather guard. My detailing shop that did all my coatings, and suntek bra recommend it. Just because the car is new does not mean it is clean. Most dealership cleaners don't do a good job in making sure your car is clean.

Yeah the BMW Leather cleaner is merely a polish for the leather to make it look shiny. I went to the dealership today and ordered the full Audi Leather care kit for about 40 bucks
