Hey guys,

Still fresh to the car and trying to understand how the mmi connect app works with the car. I have been able to connect via the in car WiFi but once I shut the car off it says it's not able to connect to car.
I don't have have the subscription service and am starting to think that this is the problem.

If this is the case, is the subscription service worth it? I would use it for the navigation traffic updates and the mmi connect app but nothing else.

As a side note, a nav question. When I have the navigation active it pulls up a turn by turn screen on the right hand side of the gauges. Any way to turn this off? I find extremely redundant.

From reading other posts I haven't been able to get a clear answer regarding this but maybe ive missed a few threads.
