8V -= A3/S3

Those are the correct B8 shocks.

You just need the right Eibach prokit springs. This you have to becareful because the one listed on the Eibach US website is incorrect.

You need this one: E10-15-021-13-22.

The easiest way to confirm is to go to the Eibach international website and order the Eibach springs for the S3, which fits the A3 2.0T quattro and the A3 2.0 TDI quattro (EU only). The stance is like this:

I like the way it handles and I do want more stiff of course, but you will notice a drop in ride quality if that matters to you. I still want a little more low because of the reverse rake these cars look like they have, but a LOT better with 19s looks wise.
I would like to add one more comment on this. Yes the ride will be stiffer however handling will be better. Also give some consideration to where you live. If in the north where in areas where they do not like to spend enough to fix potholes, the lower profile tire will give you less protection against the rim. I like low profile tires based on handling, but am not happy with increased replacement of wheels because of hitting stuff I could not see or missed when driving. It can be a trade off. If it is not a daily driver year all around and you do not live where pot holes re an issue that will not be an issue.

If you do not like a really hard ride do not get both low profile and run flat tires. They ride like a board.

Yup, I have the same part number for the Eibach prokit springs. Thanks for the pic. The car looks great. I was planning on ordering the B8 from Mod Bargains but it's currently on national back order. I will need to find it elsewhere or just wait.

18".

If you are from the US, there are many online stores that sell those shocks.

If you are from Canada, you can get those from Essex Distributior (basically Bistein.ca).

What is the reason you went with the E10-15-021-12-22 instead of the E10-15-021-10-22?

E10-15-021-12-22 = diesel?
E10-15-021-10-22 = gas?

How much drop did you get (front and rear)? With E10-15-021-12-22?

Thank you.

M apologies. There was a typo. I installed E10-15-021-13-22.

It dropped from 27" FTG both rear and front to about 25.5" FTG both rear and front.

Just to add more details, if you dig around the international Eibach website, you will realize that the E10-15-021-10-22 springs are meant for the weaker EU A3 with the weaker 2.0T engine; while the E10-15-021-12-22 springs are meant for the S3 sportback. That's why the Eibach USA website is incorrect.

If you look up the international Eibach website, you will see that E10-15-021-13-22 springs are meant for the S3 saloon (sedan) and it also works for the 2.0TFSI Quattro saloon.

Okay, that makes sense. Because UK/EU does not sell the A3 with 220hp; they only offer it with 190hp.

I was told to check what my maximum front axle load is to determine the correct springs.
