New Battery today
Audi replaced the battery at no charge - it was completely shot.
Usually new car batteries last me between 3-4 years.
This one just about 2.5 years. A lot of heat under the hood of the S3, I wonder if this is a common problem?

Wow. I find that very unusual. Glad they changed it out for free but that isn't very encouraging. I've changed the batteries in my key fob already for my 2015 S3 and thought even that unusual. LOL
Now hoping the battery in the trunk of my ordered RS3 will not get too warm near the car's exhaust!

I have a 2015 A3 with about 46k miles and my battery also died a month ago. The service rep said that the batteries put in these cars were not good and that many have failed. They also said that the new battery supplier was better and this one should last longer. Either way, I didn't care because they also replaced it for free.

My 2015 S3 and my wife’s 2015 A3 batteries just died within a week of each other. Both replaced under warranty. Interesting my 2009 TTS still has its original battery. That battery is located in the trunk.
