Hi Phil,
Congrats fellow San Antonian on getting all that cool work done at Concours.
Looking forward to seeing some photos when completed.
I hope to be able to pay Concours a visit within a week or two.
I definitely want them to do the window tint (probably ceramic.)
I have a long list of questions for them before deciding on whether do do the front PPF and/or a ceramic coating.
Fun times for sure.
Cheers,
Tom

Congratulations on your RS3 arriving and you taking delivery this next week.
Well, you are doing things as right as right can possibly be IMO buddy.
Nice going and like you I did likewise with mine for some of the same things your doing.
It will be nice to see some after pictures once you go pick it up after completion.

Dropped her off last Friday at the detail shop for 3 coats of ceramic, and to get the windows tinted. Haven't seen her since, but should get her back tomorrow or Thurs. Pic below is BEFORE the tint/ceramic.
They're coating everything, even taking the wheels off to coat the barrels, and the brake calipers.

It's gonna be sweet my Good-Man when you pick it back up.

Ok, got the car back. I think it turned out great. Only thing is.. and yes, likely my OCD... but the ppf is not entirely wrapped around on the bottom of the front splitter. No one but me would notice, but I spot everything
Terry, any areas on yours where it was not 100% wrapped around edges?

Hi Phil (Baylorguy),
Wow, your car looks fantastic.
If one didn't know any better one would think it had been dipped in glass.
The black Audi rings and RS3 logos look like they came from the factory.
If you have time it would be nice to see a photo from he side, to see the window tint.
Thanks, BTW, for the names of Ron and Erik at CAS.
I will be setting an appointment for sometime next week.
Unless something comes up I am planning on attending the Cars & Coffee on July 13th.
Hope to see you there if you can make it.
Congratulations,
Tom

Baylorguy (Phil),
Here is what my take is on the PPF Suntek wrap.
It is not a perfect sort of thing or let me say IMO it's not a perfect sort of thing.
Mine ls going to be redone for both front fenders as well as the hood by another company here in Franklin.
I met the owner in person a few days ago.
He had a serious wreck while racing Motocross like a month ago.
Very-very messed-up with his legs.
I'm waiting to here back from him once he can officially go back to work.
Anyway, Phil my man, I think if the PPF turns out for all practical purposes A-OK then we both are going to have to STOP-NIT-Picking it.
There will always be something but if we can get it to where it really-really looks GREAT to everyone that sees it then it's time for guys like us to lever well enough alone.
I hope Landon (Owner) will get over his wreck and eventually get back to work.
Then when he calls me and actually does mine we have covered what I don't like about mine right now.
He said he can do better so we shall see ???
EXTREME shop,
Landon and me,
Terry

I love the color on your Wife's new 2019 RS3.
And I agree the dash display does not bother me at all.
Tell your Little-Lady I said .............. Congratulations .................
