Default Retrofit: 50% Successful Warning & Puddle Light Install

So I was following the site Pack éclairage dans les portières pour Audi A3 8V | Le garage Jenare to see how to install the warning lights however I got to the rears and have come to a roadblock.

After scouring the web, found a post on audi-sport which stated to tap the wire directly into the red/yellow 12V wire, but that wire is constant and would leave the lights on all the time and drain the battery.

Took the door controller apart to see if I can solder in a new prong, but all were pretty much dead even though proper VCD coding was done. (the front are working).

Anyone know how to get the rears to work or if additional coding is needed?
