Default RS3/A3 Audi Connected Key (NFC)

Does anyone know if the A3 platform or any current Audi's have the connected key concept? Audi had it on their media page but does not call out which cars have it or if it's currently available in the US. It seems like a really cool concept to be able to use your phones NFC chip to open and start your car with no need for a key. Also noticed on my 2019 build sheet that the car should have the phone box which is the wireless charging pad where the NFC reader would live to start the car.

I asked the same question on the Q8 forum. Did you ever discover what happened to "Audi Connected Key" feature for the US market?
Thx

I know its not offered on the A3 platform, for a Q8 I thought I saw it as an option a bit ago on Audi's website but haven't checked in some time.
