Unless the A3 has a switchblade type fob, most modern Audis no longer come with a separate "valet" key. Besides the two key fobs, there should be a plastic "emergency key" included that will manually lock/unlock the car and can start the car when held near a symbol on the dash. Your fobs should come apart allowing you to retain the key portion and the fob housing can be given to a valet for the doors and engine start without the ability to open the locked glove box or trunk.
All of this is described in detail in the manual.

Ok thanks. For some reason, i wasn't able to find this in my manual. Maybe Canadian version is different or something.

By switchblade, do you mean like this:

Because that's what came with my A3. (premium+ with Advanced key) The key that pops out is the one you describe, which can be used to open the door and start the car in an emergency, but it's not plastic. I assume this is what all A3's get?

It appears that the A3 comes with the older style switchblade key fob. The A6, A7 and A8 and some other Audis now come with a key similar to the one pictured below. The cap part is a metal key that can be removed and the housing by itself used as a remote valet lock/unlock, start key. Then, there is also a plastic emergency key that can manually lock/unlock and start the car.

I saw someone in a 2015 Q3 the other day and the fob they had looked like the old model like in link1305's photo - looked the same as the ones I had with my 2008 A4.

I have a 1.8 A3 Premium they gave me 2 switch blade style keys. Like in the pic above, you have to insert the key in ignition and turn it. The other style key looks like the ones for push button start cars. I did not get a valet key.

There is only one parking lot where I let them take my car. I have been going there over 25 years and know all the attendants. Other than that place I never give the car to anyone but the Audi dealer. It is hard in NYC to find a place to park that is self-park, so I go to this one lot and then take the taxi or subway to wherever it is I am going. I feel it is worth the sense of security, not having to worry about alien hands touching my car. Of course they know I am paranoid but tip well.

Is it true that if you park your car in Manhattan for 60 days you have spent the cost equivalent of another Audi?
