2018 RS3 here. Was first on "the list" at local dealer December 2015. Placed actual order 5/17/17. Took delivery 11/29/17. It now has 26,550 miles. I travel 2.5 states for a living hence the higher mileage. Absolutely love this car!

By exhaust rattle, do you mean when the car is put into Dynamic mode & the flaps open? If so, yes mine has done that since day one BUT only when the outside temps are really low. Mid 30's & below seems to trigger the "flap opening rattle noise". Regarding oil consumption, yes! Right around 7500 miles religiously, it takes an additional quart. Not so much of a big deal to me but I am curious as to why this happens. I'm a DIY guy, so I've been under the car multiple times. No oil leaks or seepage of any kind. BTW, both of these issues have been reported to my Audi dealership with typical response..."we don't have any issues with that". I just gave up.

Mine is model year 18. Took delivery August 2017.
Now at 17000+ miles.

Had to top off with 1 quart of oil in between oil changes. Had to do that with my old S4 as well. Just part of Audi ownership.

CORRECTION, my old brain was remembering 1000 miles too few. As of today, I actually am at 27,660. Getting ready to travel for 3 days so I'm sure I'll hit 28k by the weekend :-)
