received July 2017; 28,000+ km's as a Daily. usual oil top-up every 10,000km between oil changes. front radar realigned (front bumper re/re) under warranty. exhaust replaced under warranty (stuck in sport).

Will probably keep the car when the lease comes up - until there's a 600hp electric or ICE equivalent.

Purchased 20 RS3 on July 7, 2020 as of today, just over 13,000 miles. So approx 2,500/month. At least it's fun

2019 RS 3 purchased 1/27/20 with SUMMER ONLY Pirelli tires on it, dealer refused to replace with tires suitable for safe winter use!!! A TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT situation! Almost didn't get it home SAFELY, in that days 27°F weather and the many slippery spots we hit during our 52 mile trip home!

FYI... Pirelli says that this SUMMER ONLY tire IS NOT TO BE USED BELOW 45°F!

Replaced wheels/tires with 18" Neuspeed RSe10 and Michelin A/S3+ 245/40/18 All Weather rated performance tires which have performed very well indeed, including dealing with our many poor surface back roads which have previously killed two 235/35/19 all weather tire sidewalls and bent an 19" Audi wheel edege!

Neuspeed knows well that the front wheel calipers on the RS 3 are extremely large and leave no room for 'usual' wheel weight attachment position. So during their wheel balancing work, the weights are placed at different locations to prevent possible interferance with the large front wheel btrake caliper, while also insuring precision balance weight placement! You'd think that shops providing tire and balance services would be smart enough to know to position the balance weights accordingly on an Audi RS 3... but they don't!

Wish I had a bit more tire sidewall height, but it appears that a taller 255/40/18 would have contact problems with the fender well, so say a few who have said they've tried it, but on earlier RS 3, not a late build 2019 RS 3 such as ours is!

Now at 15,000 miles with 10,100 being fast country back road runs at speed and 4,900 normal speed highway travel. Will replace these with the new design Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4S 245/40/18 tires in March 2021 and continue our country back road runs when weather warms up. I'll be 81 years old soon and have been running many different high performance vehicles for the past 64 years on such 'back roads' so I am not a new comer to such vehicle use... and certainly glad I can still do it safely!

Questions?

When do you sleep? With so many miles on your 2019 RS 3, what have you discovered about its potential weak points, quirks, etc, that you can share with us current 2019 RS 3 owners?

LOL, yeah - so driving has always been my decompression time. I usually travel 2-3 weeks a month for work, but have not been on a plane since March Lots more time to spend behind the wheel this year

Nothing really to report. One of the speakers in the driver's door has gone bad and needs to be replaced (it's scratchy sometimes but not all the time). Burned a little oil but only had to add a 1/2 quart once.

I really love driving this car, much more than any other I've owned.

I figured that your job must involve automobile travel, given the huge number of miles you're accumulating. I had a job like this in Los Angeles back in the 60's. Certainly wouldn't want to try it now days! Good report showing the Audi has few difficulties driving such mileage.

The bulk of our mileage (80%) is fast country back roads driving, now at 12,000 miles backroads and 3,000 miles normal driving, so our vehicle wear results are going to be quite a bit different. But so far a very impressive machine indeed, having run a modified Renoh 18i, a modified BMW E28 and Golf R on these same country back roads for quite a few years.

I am retired so have the time and significant interest in this type of automobile use. I also consider our RS 3 as one of the best that we've owned too... its capabilities are fantastic... once we put high quality 18-inch tires/wheels on it and got rid of the 19-inch factory junk. We hope the RS 3 remains a great performer.
