Default S3 fuel gauge issue

Hi all-

Newb here so maybe a new question. Traded in the 2010 s4 for a new s3 about a week ago. Have filled up with no issues before but yesterday i filled up and the gauge read empty and has remained that way. Any ideas if it's a fuse issue, an instrument panel issue or if i just need to give something like techron a try? I'm sure it's under warranty whatever the issue but don't want to leave my car at the dealer for 2 days if it can be avoided. thanks in advance.

get a vcds to see the raw data from the sensor, then you will know which part has gone wrong

you should just bring it into the dealership for a look as it should still be under warranty.
