So confused on non warranty voiding mods
Just got a low mileage 13K Miles 2017 CPO A3 Quattro. I have 4 years unlimited mile warranty.
I do not want any chance of voiding warranty.
I have already ordered and cancelled stuff.
I was at the dealer today and they told me exhaust, downpipe with cats, intake OK no tuning whatsoever.
Other people have said downpipe with cats will void your warranty.
Love the car but since there is never such thing as enough power would love a little more.
What's your opinion on warranty friendly mods?

My dealer said all bolt ons are ok but once you do any internal engine mods, bigger turbos, or reflash the ecu, your warranty is toast. They told me piggy back units are ok but must be removed before taken in for service or any warranty issues.
