Sunroof rattle

Sunroof rattle
I took my 2015 S3 in for the 35K mile service and mentioned to them there was noise coming from the sunroof area. Turns out, there is a bulletin for this very problem. This is the number on my invoice: 2038029/5. They kept my car for a second day to order the parts kit and this is the description from the invoice: Removed glass tilting roof panel, sunshade and sunroof cover trim, installed fleece adhesive tape, road test verified repair.
Well, there's more noise now then before . . . not happy. I'll see if a little time will quiet the noise and if not, back to the dealer . . .

This recommendation is from a fellow Audi owner and it worked for me:
Tilt-open the sunroof
Loosen the screw on either driver or passenger side, at the back of the sunroof
Push sunroof down a little lower than previous position
Tighten screw
Do the same to the other side (passenger or driver) and tighten at same position
Tilt-open the sunroof
Loosen the screw on either driver or passenger side, at the back of the sunroof
Push sunroof down a little lower than previous position
Tighten screw
Do the same to the other side (passenger or driver) and tighten at same position

And your Audi service department didn't know that? Glad you got it resolved. Not had any issues with my sunroof but will certainly keep this in mind. Sorry you had to deal with it however.

No rattle issues with mine but with everything closed and driving at motorway speeds it sounds like the passenger rear window is open slightly. Dealer already 'fixed' it once but I just haven't yet informed them of their failure to resolve.

I have this issue, and they replaced the entire frame around 3 months ago and the rattling has started again. Pic would be great if possible.
