URGENT: FML 2nd Convience Key problem
Guys please tell me if the dealer ****ed up or something.
I've taken a delivery of my 2015 s3 couple weeks a go, and i was given 2 keys. I have been using this main key (let's call it key #1) and never bother using the spare key (key #2) (it was just lying in my room).
Now when my dad tried to use the key #2 to take my car for a spin, the car said, Key Not Recognized. Upon further inspection, key #2 has different Key grooves (key cutting) than key #1 (even the Date Stamp in both of the keys are different)
I am guessing that my 2nd key must've been swapped accidentally?
Any feedback and suggestions will be appreciated. I am getting really pissed off at this dealer.

****KKKKKKKKK. How can they screw this up....It didn't come to my mind to check the 2nd key since it's too rare this can happen. But i guess it just happened.
Thanks buddy for the quick reply

Just to give you guys an update, the dealer said they will ship me a new one.
When I asked about coming back to have the immobilizer program the new key (advanced key), they said it's not necessary since the key will be preprogrammed??
Does that make sense to you guys?

I could also be that they had your original key.

I hope i don't have to go back to the dealer again for the 2nd time. The whole experience is a joke, and this kind of incidents should never happen. Do I contact AUDI Canada for feedbacks and questions about this? I want to get manufacture's response about this.

In the menu system, you can see how many keys have been assigned to your car. It'll be interesting to see if it changes to three, once they ship your key. Good luck.

Well as right now, it says 2 (which makes sense), but i gave the dysfunctional key back to the dealer, so either i will get a count of 3 or they ship me a key with the code for the 2nd key.
If it shows up as 3 i am gonna be like, delete one since i have the risk of my car of being stolen.
