VIM on 2018 RS3
Hello,
anyone had success on VIM?
OBDeleven says that VIM on 2018 models does not work... Anyone tried? Any other methods?
P.S. my car is due for delivery next week, so I have no idea what version I will have. I have ordered navigation plus with BO.

Yeah, I have been meaning to investigate and see what I can find in VCDS this on my 2018 S3 - let you know what I find, so far only found this:

Next Wednesday some dude is coming to enable VIM and he is 99% he can do it 
He said, he was successful before (on my car), but as he enabled it prior to the final checks before delivery of the car, the final wipe or whatever the dealer does - reset it back to factory...
On the same note: what are the Video file parameters (resolution, etc.) for videos to play? I remember that in Audi S7 the mmi was particularly fiddly, and you had to have certain resolution, for it to play. I don't recall what it was but it was some stupid resolution; 716x410 or something like that, even a pixel over would prevent the video from playing....

Erm, they tried it with the q7 software and it didn't work.
They told me they will get the correct software or whatever it is they need and fix it maybe next week.
I don't know the details, but i assume they have enabled vim on the 2018 Q7 and they tried to use the same software on my rs3.
