Went to drive my girlfriend home this morning. As I tried to start the a3, nothin but a couple clicks so I automatically assume dead battery? So I hook up the jumper cables and still just clicks. Then I start to think maybe my starter? So I took my battery out to get a better look at starter and what not and I think for a second. I have an old three wheeler and the only way I can start it is buy putting power straight to the starter and then grounding it. So I think why wouldn't that work on my car, so I hook the battery straight to my starter and the ground off the battery to were it would normally connect, the ground wire on the car and it started right up, this is as far as I've gotten. Must be somthing electrical? Any thoughts?
