Default A3 3.2 DSG driveline shudder

Not a newbie to Audis but my wife got rid of her MiNi for a 2006 A3. She loves it. When going around low speed corners there is a vibration similar to a CV joint shuddering. Not all the time. I do not think it is a Cv joint but some sort of LSD type shuddering. Sounds like in the rear of car. Car has 75k. Anyone had the symptom and does a service solve it.

Could be your haldex clutch locking, resulting in binding of your wheels.

Or could be the rear diff locking, which people say will happen if during service, they put the haldex fluid in the rear diff.

Default driveline shudder

If I turn off the Traction control, the problem goes away.

Maybe one tire is much lower in tire pressure, causing false ESP reading?

To verify it is not haldex, pull the haldex fuse and see if it still happens. This will make your car purely fwd and will negate the possibility of the haldex clutch locking and overdriving the rear wheels.

I changed the haldex fluid today with a new filter and no luck. Shudder is there when making right hand turns only. Happens with ESP button off or on. ESP light even flashes a bit under tight right handers. All searches seem to indicate a bad controller. Where can i find a used or rebuilt one reasonably?

If Haldex controller is broken, it would still cause the shudder if you turn ESP off.

I still get the shudder no matter what i do, ESP on or off. funny it only happens on right hand turns, not left. I was on a long sweeping turn on the highway at 70mph and it felt like the car would vibrate it self to death. never happens going left. I pulled out the ross tech and checked the controller. No faults. Anything i should look for on the sequential out put tests?

Was there ever a solution? I've had the same exact problem for many months and the Dealer doesn't know what it is either.
