Hi

I had to back out from a block covered in snow this morning and manage to destory the black plastic that sits under the lip of the car (I think its call either belly pan or undertray). Is this piece nesscary? I would hate to replace it if it serves no purpose. Also, anyone has any idea where I can find 1 without going back to the stealership?

Is it important? Yes. It protects against dirt/debris entering the engine compartment, and serves as an airflow device helping direct air around the oil pan for cooling.

It will be better to install steel 2mm skid plate for Audi A3
