Default A3 Steering Wheel

Hello, I currently have this stock steering wheel installed in my 2004 A3:

I am going to replace the steering wheel with this one:

I know that these have different airbags, however, I am just looking for a way to install the new steering wheel in the car that won't give me an airbag warning on my dash/won't cause any problems with accidental detonation of the airbag etc?

I know you can replace steering wheels with totally custom metal/racing steering wheels with no airbag at all, so I am just wondering how this is done without causing an airbag warning light etc.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
