Default Audi A3 sounds like a diesel
Hi everyone,

I just got the A3 2.0 TFSI Sportback and I've noticed when I'm in every other mode other than sport, when accelerating it has a diesel sound to it. When I am in sports mode, it is a lot smoother but still has a bit of a diesel sound to it.

Is this normal?

My 2009 has a slight diesel sound as well. 78k miles. I hear it may be due to a common issue with the undersides of the valves getting gunked up.
