FOAMED in 30 Seconds
Got a new toy!
Last week I applied the Ultima line of products with 3 coats of their "apply and walk away" Paint Guard Plus.
Yesterday i went to Sears so I could do my first wash since applying Ultima. ;-)
This from Sears....

And here it is just after drying, no detail spray yet...

This was my first time using the pressure washer and foam cannon so I just guessed on the ratio of soap to water. Came out ok but next time I'll get it even thicker. But it was A LOT OF FUN! Had the whole car covered within 30 seconds! Then i let it sit for several minutes while i got a bucket of water ready with Ultima car wash soap and my microfiber mit. Then I gently rinsed the layer of soapy foam off and gave it a quick gentle wash like normal. So i basically just used the foam this time as a pre-soak like when you go to a touchless car wash. Next time I might fool around with using the pressure washer to rinse and see how that goes.
But damnnnnnnn.... look at all that wet shine.
BTW, I am LOVING these wheels. Very little break dust accumulates and they are SO EASY to wash.

That is so cool. I've had a Karcher pressure washer for years and for some reason
I never thought to use it.
Speaking of wheels: A presoak with a multipurpose cleaner and the Karcher, blasted away the brake dust. Tho, I've a few coats of Rim Wax on 'em too. God I hate my wheel design, I'd love to have a few less spokes.
So I hit the wheel wells with the multipurpose cleaner too. Finished with the Adams Undercarriage. Looks brand new, if you ever decided to stick your head where it doesn't really belong.
I'm intrigued with the soap cannon...

What would you recommend for a water softener/filter? I did a spot test with my
local water and it's bad... nasty spots result if you don't wipe down.
