I need HELP !! :-( AUDI A3 2.0 TDI 140 HP Timing Belt Problems
Hello Audi Lovers,
I am dealing with a BIG PROBLEM!
I bought last year an Audi A3 2006 2.0 TDI (140 hp) 2006 Sportback. Before 6 months, I changed the timing belt of the car, but the people who installed this package did in a wrong way and the car broke down. So the fault according to them was related to Timing Belt Tensioner. Recently, even though I have changed many damaged parts of the engine including the Timing Belt, the car vibrates when driving on the 5th-6th gear 2k-3k 1x1000 (120km/h - more). Particularly, when you are nearly to accelerate. Moreover, when I pass to 4k - 5k with the 5th or 6th gear, I can hardly spot it. The vibration didn't exist before the crush of the first new timing belt.
Also, the consumption of fuel is doubled after the new timing belt installation. I try to drive in a comfort way and not to accelerate it immediately, but still the boarding computer tells frightening digits of the consumption on the screen (18L/100KM-in urban areas).
The persons who have any idea about this problem, are more than pleased and welcomed to text me back/reply on my post with helpful comments and recommendations.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
