first time user here.

This weekend the Emission Control System warning light came on on my Audi A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI from 2010.

I didn't notice any difference in the driving or any loss of performance.

I took the car to an Audi shop (in Portugal) and after an exhaustive analysis (since the first read was inconclusive) they told me the problem is the turbo and that it needs to be changed for a new one (they quoted me around 1200€ parts+service).

I don't notice anything different in the car and I think is quite odd that the problem is indeed with the turbo since i read that turbo problems will make the car go into limp mode and other things will be very noticeable.

What do you guys think?
