Possible REIMBURSEMENT for CVT Transmissions
I received a letter in the mail from a law group regarding a class action lawsuit that is happening right now against Audi (VW Group of America).
It stated that all current or past purchasers or lessee of a 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006 model year A4 or A6 vehicles orignally equipped with a factory-installed CVT transmissions are due for reimbursement of work done on their transmissions due to defective CVTs sold in breach of applicable warranties.
I CHECKED with AUDI, and it is CONFIRMED.. (You can chat to them on their website also, and they will confirm it).
I was given till November to provide proof of work done and, accordingly, will be reimbursed.
I researched online, and it seems that this lawsuit WILL be won, so if you have had done work on yours, than make sure you got that paper and didn't throw it away.. it is LEGIT!
