Spare Key won't start car

Spare Key won't start car
My problem is I just went to use the spare key and the doors lock and unlock using the FOB but when I put it into ignition all seems good apart from when I attempt to start the vehicle. It turns over then just cuts out?
Is this an immob problem with the spare key?
My normal key is absolutely fine and still works but it just annoys me that I know if I loose this one key I don't have a spare.
