2014 A5, 2.0, Coolant reservoir overflow hose...
Mine was leaking at where it connects to the radiator. Audi tech tried to tell me the radiator was non-OEM so radiator might need replacing. I told him to 1st try to replace the $30 hose before the $1000 radiator and of course, that did the trick. However, I noticed he filled the reservoir up to the top, well past the MAX line. Does anyone know if that is going to be an issue? Seems every time (literally) I go to the dealership they screw something up.

Check it when the engine is stone cold. If its over the Max line, syphon the excess out. I would think the worst that could happen is your reservoir would overflow potentially dumping the excess on any paint under the reservoir and antifreeze and paint are not a good combination. Who is your dealer if you care to share? John |
My solution
I bought a turkey baster and sucked out enough to get the level right at Max. Dealership is Audi Dominion in San Antonio, TX Thx for the reply! |
