Hopefully you have better luck with it. Neighbor has an 18 - nice looking car, very nice seats. Unfortunately he’s had several issues in his 10 months of ownership. Such is life, at least he seems pleased with his dealer. Everyone I had, the post buy experience got worse and worse, as did the cars. Shame too as my race car was also a bmw.

I'm averaging about 225 miles per tank. about 16 mpg. commute is bout 2 miles each way and drive further on weekends since not at work. If i'm luck I get bout 110 miles at 1/2 tank. have it set on individual. All settings on auto except for exhaust and sport diff in dynamic and acc in comfort. Hopefully I got a bad fuel pump or something but no codes yet. Just smelly oil.. Got an appointment a week from Monday.. My older direct injected engines didn't do this but I also drove 9 miles farther each way and oil reached operating temp. Completely different scenario.. It is a huge problem with all direct injected engines just because the way the fuel is injected in there. But the oil is the key and its got to get fixed. All engines are going to direct injection and oil hasn't caught up. I hope my case can be resolved.

Unfortunately all car manufactures have "lemons" and the 2018 Audi S5 we purchased was a lemon which Audi Corporate refused to acknowledge! As you can see in this blog other S 5 owners are having similar issues "major amount of gas getting into the oil"! Neither my wife or I were willing to change our driving habits to accommodate our cars engine. We tried to stay in the Audi Family by making a deal to purchase a new A 6, but Audi Corporate would not assist our dealer to make the trade possible, bottom line $2900.00 difference from what we wanted to make the deal. Our experience with BMW over the past 25 years has been very good! I know this is an Audi Blog and hate to burst your bubble, but you have to call a spade(lemon) a spade(lemon) ! Hope you sell lots of Audi's, it is a beautiful car!

Truly a shame; between corporate and the dealer $2900 is peanuts to satisfy someone. Unfortunate that you weren’t apparently dealing with the right people

good luck on the new car, they are certainly nice performers and comfortable

My and our dealers thoughts exactly. I called Audi Corporate three (3) times and sent a email to Mr. Jamie Dennis, Director of Product Quality, Techinical Service & After Sales, Audi USA, without response from anyone. Terrible customer service.
