Default A5 front lower control arm & rearward lower control arm ball joint

Hello

I currently have a 2009 Audi A5 and have changed the front wheel bearing today, everything has gone fine until I tried to get the rear bolt through the front lower control arm, I can get the bolt through but the bush/arm and the mount are slightly misaligned and I cant seem to get it that extra few mm, the bolt is tapered but not sure if tapping with a hammer will align it, any tips/ideas what to try?

With the rearward lower control arm ball joint I just cant get the taper through far enough to get the nut on, again any tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated, I took today off in the hope I could get it done and back at work tomorrow, so ideally I would like to get it back on the road tonight.

It is on axle stands currently on my drive, don't have a lift or anything like that either.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

TT
