Hi is it possible for me to install an airfilter straight on the turbo? i have an audi a5 2.0 tfsi 2009 mod. i can see that the stock air intake has a plug of some kind. would this mod work, im kindof living on a budget, so an air intake mod is a litte bit too expensive for me.

I am not familiar (yet) with Audi engines as I am with SAAB, but where is the MAF in an Audi? It is between the filter and the intake in a SAAB.

And other than sound which some seem to like, CAI do little performance increase if any at all, IMO. Many OEM setups pull air from outside or beneath the engine as opposed to in the middle of of under the hood.

Oh, boy, I stuck my foot in it now, haha. Let the CAI aficionados discuss. At least I am sorta bumping your post......
