I feel dumb. Hadlve had the car since August and today I needed to add windhsield washer fluid. I pulled the lever, the hood pops up a bit but for the life of me I can't find the safety latch under the hood to pop it open.

I have an '09 A4 so I know how they should open but I slid my hand everywhere and can't find anything.

Did something change?

It's a lever that you rotate horizontally a bit, and different from other cars that I've had. Here's the diagram from the manual:

And the S5 hood is HEAVY, so practice your "curls"!
