Bought an a6 2.7t that had been sitting over a year due to coolant leak. Filled it back up after I got it and couldn't get it to leak again. So instead of driving it and waiting for it to leak again I garaged it. Again. Only now I'm taking it apart piece by piece trying to find culprit. There was a puddle and crystalizing in the valley but no crystals on the hoses or aux pump indicating where my leak is. The coolant was drained before I started last night and wen I woke up this morning to check my work again there was liquid "clear" maybe water from system, pooled up again in valley. Not gas.. any suggestions on where or how to find the culprit?
PS. Is the housing under the aux for relieving crank case pressure? Got curious what it was for.

Was going to say to post this in the A6 (C5) forum but it looks like you already did.. Good luck in hunting down the leak.
