Default ECP or not?

Hi fellows. A few days ago I bought an A5 (I'm the second owner ) and I'm not sure about the ECP signal on the dashboard. It remains on when the car is in the first electrical position ( engine off). But when I turn the engine on the light turns off. Is this situation an ECP warning or is just the standard ignition and nothing happens? I tried to run my OBD2 connector as I did before in my previous car, but it's not able to read this ECU.. Thanks in advance for your help.

Perhaps you meant EPC?

It is just the start up routine, these lights should go out after the engine has been started, as they are in your case. Operating correctly.
