Full Throttle - Won't Shift
 

2018 B9 RS5 Coupe
Audi Service again tells me they cant reproduce the problem.
Full throttle (through the kick down), and neither the paddles or shift lever will upshift.
They tell me I'm not deliberate enough with the shift. I can hold the paddles for 4 sec and still will not shift, revs just bounce off the limiter.
This ONLY happens when full throttle.
Am I the only one having this issue?

Make a video and show it to your service advisor. I've not experienced that issue in my 2018 ever.

I have provided two videos. One demonstrating the paddle failure and another showing the shift lever failure. They indicated I am not shifting "deliberately enough".
When below full throttle, it shift very easily with only a slight effort. When WOT, it will not shift on the first click. It sometimes takes three clicks.

It's not a dual clutch transmission so shifts are not quite as fast, but one click of the paddles should still do the trick. If the problem is repeatable, ask to take the SA for a ride and demonstrate what's happening.
