I bought 18 for about 9.6% markdown off MSRP that the discounts include $750 Season of Audi, $1,000 for using Audi Financial, and on the car itself. The dealer thought that I was trading my 11' Volkswagen CC in for just $2,000 which I turned down during negotiation - I sold that for $6,000 privately. So my guess is that he approved the deal thinking they could make significant profits off my trade-in. On the day I got the car the dealer admitted the dealership did not make almost no profit off the deal, which probably was bit of an exaggeration. Regardless I was hoping to spend under 50k in total but I think that's a fair deal and the dealer worked his *** to get the loan approved for me through Foreign Business Professional program which was little tricky. He is actually the dealer who sold me the 11' VW CC about 4 years ago.

I told them straight up I was looking at some used ones that had about 5-10k miles on them (which I was). They said if we can get you close to a used one would you consider a new one. So they took about 10% off the MSRP and then added the loyalty and financing discounts on top of that. Good luck!
I have had a Volkswagen so I did not get the $1,000 loyal discount. I got the $1,000 for using Audi Financial at 4.99% luckily I was qualified for foreign business professional program. Including all things though, 13% is a lot of discount! Even with the $1,000 Audi owner discount, I would have gotten less than 11%. Was there a special tactic or deal that you had with the dealer?
