Will the AMI in this version be able to handle modern iPods?

Is there a place I can check to see which iPods are compatible?

Default Bovee Bluetooth adapter
I have had the AMI Auxiliary cord but got tired of closing the glove box on the cord so I switched over to Bluetooth with this adapter from amazon. It has been working for me the last 2 years.

So i would still be able to use the AMI and not have to fondle with the iPod?
