MMI oil level vs actual
Just had my first oil change today, Level used to be right at the top on the MMI display, now it's down a bit (At least it's not overfilled).
I was curious to see how this translated to the actual level difference, so I measured it again with my homebrew dipstick, and the actual level change was about 2mm. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...044a3c1325.jpg |
Give the MMI system a couple days to catch up and provide an accurate display - - it takes some driving for it to accurately gage the level.

What’s a “home brew” dipstick? I hate not having a real dipstick in my S5 SB (or my Porsche for that matter). |

Who is to say the dipstick is correct? I'd trust the MMI level over the dipstick level any day. I mean, how did they calibrate the aftermarket dipstick?
