2013 S5 85k so here is my story. Been smitten by the look of this car for a while now and always wanted one but was always leery finally drove it and I'm in love and like most loves they get you in trouble. I been reading alot about this car and heard alot of horror stories as well as successful 200k lifespans. So I figured I found one with a decent history, serviced by audi for the first 65k and then had the 75k service done at an indie shop.

Got it from carvana so I got seven days and 400 miles to either keep it or leave it. So far I want to keep it. Took it to a reputable audi/vw shop here in texas and it got a clean bill of health, only recommendations where a brake flush and control arm bushings. They said it looked like it had been well taken care of.

So I left happy and started thinking of all the things I wanted to do to it.

Got home and hear a slight ticking and started reading about the tensioner and timing chain issues, I'm going to try and post a video and any insight would be appreciated.
