Default OEM Continental Tire performance

Hi all, I had made a post a while back regarding poor traction with my stock contisportcontact 5 255/35/19 tires in cold weather.
With the ambient temps up, traction has improved albeit still sketchy when it comes to ruts or grooves in the road.
The other day a friend mentioned how noisy the car was driving along at highway speeds and in fact I realized it was quite noisier than usual.
My previous vehicle, 2016 A3, handled straight as an arrow whatever the road surface was and was also more than sufficiently quiet.
I am now considering changing out these tires.

Would anyone recommend a type of quieter and good performing all around tire. I care more about comfort than performance since my A5 is mostly a commuter.

Tires in this size are high performance, not touring. How about all season https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...k&autoModClar=

Interesting. Would this type of tire also help with handling issues on uneven roads?

IMO, no matter how compliant the tire, 19" wheels allow for limited sidewall. 17" or 18" would work better for what you desire. I think wider tires also add to the handling issues on uneven roads
