Question Pre Sense City

Let me start by saying I don't have the Drivers Assistance package. I was driving on the interstate at 75mph the other day and my attention turned to the temperature control *****. I was approaching a vehicle in front of me and I hear a warning with PRE SENSE in the cockpit screen on the left. Then my brakes were pumped automatically which slowed me down. I thought pre-sense city worked only below 52 mph? I was way over that.

It is the speed differential that is the measure - if the car in front of you was at a dead stop, you would have hit it before the camera based pre-sense City would have picked it up. But presumably it had slowed, or was travelling slower than you, and the speed differential between your car and the one in front was less than 52mph, pre-sense City will, and thankfully did, engage in time.
