Hi,

I'm planning to buy a 2018 RS5

I was thinking about going, all out, and getting the Dynamic Plus Package, but now
I'm wondering how hard and how safe is it to reprogram the limiter?

There are 4 different tracks within 60-minutes of my house, so I do plan to track this RS5.

IIRC — The ECU on the B9 has yet to be “cracked” so any attempt to remove the pre-programmed limiter will fail. There are some threads devoted to this in the sub-forum below this one that is dedicated to the B9 A5 / S5 / RS5. My advice — bite the bullet and buy the RS5 with the factory Dynamic Plus Package.

You’ll end up getting what you want, right out of the gate.
