S5 purchase dilema

S5 purchase dilema
I'm looking to upgrade from my current b8 A5 to a b8.5 S5. I'd like to have the same color combo that I have now, Ibis white and Tuscan brown, but looking for one on the used market with manual transmission is impossible. My question is, is it feasible to buy one with the wrong exterior and interior color and have it painted and source a new interrior, or should I bite the bullet and wait for the right car to come on the market?

An interior color change with new seats/door panels would cost $10,000....and that's being conservative. You will never be able to paint the inside of the engine bay, trunk, etc a different color....your car will always be two-toned and take a massive hit in resale value if not the original color.
So the short answer is no...you will have to flexible on color. You could wait a lifetimes and never find your "unicorn car" in the used market place. Sorry.
