Tire & Wheel Protection

Depends on what your / who’s contract your dealer is selling. Dealer’s usually sell 3rd party contracts, not Audi sponsored wheel & tire warranties.
My advice is do not not be pressured by the “finance manager” to buy it on the spot; ask for a copy of the contract, take it home and read every line carefully as the devil is in the details. And if the Finance Manager tells you something different from what the contract says, Do Not believe them. The contract is between YOU and the Contract company — all the dealership is doing is selling you that contract — so even if they write some “extra” deal, it’s not legally binding and enforceable.
You must know what you are buying!

I ended up didn’t buy it. Unlike Audi care, It’s the kind of protection you have to buy it the day you picked up.
He didn’t let me take a copy of contract home to review when I stopped by first time before the actual pick up date.

My dealer only offers the official Audi Pure Protection T&W package with the optional cosmetic coverage (administered by Safeguard) at $1788 for 5 years. Troy at FD warranty is ~$350 cheaper for the same plan, he also offers the standard T&W plan (without the cosmetic coverage) which is significantly cheaper (~$1100) The downside with the Audi Pure Protection T&W plan is that it defines covered damage to the wheel as a condition where it does not seal the tire or hold air pressure. So, as some member on this forum found out the hard way, a bent or dented rim that doesn't leak air is excluded from coverage. I haven't had any issues on 19" and low profile tires in the last 15 years, but will be going to 20" wheels for the first time and I am considering getting coverage. My credit union also offers similar products so I will probably look in to that as well.

That's pretty shady, my dealer's finance guy emailed me all the contracts for all the different products they offer and I am about 20 days away from delivery. The Audi Pure Protection T&W does say it is a point of sale product but Troy said he can make it work.

Jason - The dropdown from the wheel & tire forum still directs you to the old general A4 discussion.
