2009 Audi A5 - EPB malfunction
I have a 2009 Audi A5 - My parking brake stopped working, checked with VCDS and it said that there was a faulty switch.
I change the ON/ OFF switch next to the shifter, It didn't work. I changed the brake light switch under the steering column. It didn't work.
I ordered a used EPB ECU model # (8K0 907 801 E). It doesn't work. Tried VCDS and it doesn't recognize it.
Since I got it used I thought that its also faulty and purchased another one. The 2nd one also doesn't get recognized.
Does it require some sort of programming? I'm at a standstill now without ideas.
