2010 A5 2.0 crank case vent help??

I have a 2010 A5 2.0 TFSI with a crank case vent issue.
when the car warms up it squeels so loud you can't hardly beleive it. I finally figured it is a vent issue. the oil cap is suctioned so tight you can't hardy get it off when the car is running. as soon as you do get it off the squeel stops. any ideas what could be wrong here, I am not at all familiar with the vents system on this engine.
I also am getting miss fire codes now which I guess isn't too suprizing.

any help????

Sounds like the same failure that happened to my 2009 A4 2.0T.

looks like this is it. I assume you just replaced the PCV valve on top the Valve cover??

can you confirm this? or is their some other crank case vent I am not aware of?

thanks

The dealer replaced the PCV on the valve cover - I didn't do it myself - it was under warranty...

I suppose the primary oil separator (copper color below) could fail, but I think it's far more likely the one on the valve cover is the issue.

You state the noise goes away if the oil filler cap is removed - how about when you apply throttle (reduces vacuum). Mine would stop squealing when I pressed the accelerator quickly to rev it up a bit or when driving and accelerating.

yes when you accelerate it does pretty much go away.
I ordered the updated PCV valve monday but I won't have it till Thurs or maybe friday, so was just checking if their was anything else I may be missing.

thanks
